Does KD Therapy, PLLC offer virtual appointments?
Yes, we offer in-person, virtual, and hybrid counseling. It is at the discretion of the provider to determine if/when in-person is clinically necessary. If so, you will transition to in-person or be provided a referral for an in-person provider.
Does KD Therapy, PLLC provide therapy for ketamine patients?
It is at the discretion of the provider if they will work with clients who are receiving ketamine treatment. In general, they will work with established clients receiving ketamine treatment at an in-person clinic.
What insurance does KD Therapy, PLLC currently accept?
Currently, we accept the following insurances: Blue Cross and Blue Shield, Aetna, United Health Care, Cigna/Evernorth and Medicare Advantage. We have submitted contract requests for multiple other carriers such as Medicare and Tricare patients.
What is the late-cancellation policy/no-show policy?
Late-cancellation is considered cancelling an appointment less than 24 hours prior to your visit. If you do not show up for your scheduled therapy appointment, and you have not notified us at least 24 hours in advance, you will be required to pay the full cost of the session.
Do we provide ESA letters?
We do not at this time.
Do we provide letters of FMLA or disability documentation?
All documentation requests are at the discretion of the provider. We typically require a minimum provider/patient relationship of 6 months prior to completing this. Most paperwork requests are billed with a $50 processing surcharge, which will be collected upon completion of the paperwork via the card on file. Sometimes the fee is more, depending on the type of paperwork you need, or the time commitment required to complete it – ask your provider for more details. We are incredibly fast when it comes to completing this paperwork and strive to get everything back to you within 5 business days. If there is a delay, feel free to reach out to your provider via the portal for further inquiry.
What should I do if I feel I am having a crisis?
CALL 911 OR utilize the suicide prevention hotline by dialing 988 from any telephone. These resources are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. If we have cause to believe you may hurt yourself or others, we reserve the right to contact your emergency contact or call 911.
